Directions To Persian Rugs From Aberdeen
There isn't really a choice of stores selling handmade Persian and Oriental rugs in the Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire area. Although a bit of a drive, when making such a substantial and important purchase it is well worth making the journey.

By Car:
From Aberdeen join the A90 and either continue towards Perth where you will join the M90, head south towards the Forth Road Bridge (A90) then merge to the M8 after crossing, or continue down the M90 until you reach Glasgow. Exit at the far end of the Kingston Bridge (junction 20) and just after the going through the traffic lights at the exit to the off-ramp take a right. From here continue straight until you go under a railbridge (Commerce Street will be on your left before you go under this but the street is cut off by bollards into two roads) then take a left, another left and a right. You will be on Commerce Street, go through one set of traffic lights and Little-Persia will be on your right just before second set of lights.

By Train or Bus:
Getting to Little-Persia by train or bus could not be simpler. We are situated just minutes walk from the city centre. Arriving at Buchanan Bus Station or Glasgow Queen street from Aberdeen simply head down Buchanan Street, cross over and continue south pass through St. Enoch's Square, continue until you are on Clyde Street/Broomielaw which is the street running adjacent to the River Clyde. From here simply turn right and take the second bridge on the left across the water. Little-Persia is underneath the railway bridge on the left.
